My tertiary channel into west coast police leadership is saying “antifa splinter groups”.
They are not done and they will lead the rioters into the suburbs to cause as many casualties as possible. And they know it will be mostly rioters.

You are probably correct, not a whole lot out there to steal. That being said, alot of these antifa types are not there to steal, they are there to cause havoc.
I do agree that it would end badly for those there to cause mayhem.
I wonder if a non-lethal anti-bike weapon could be developed that is shot from a drone. Sharp spikes laid in front of the tires. Or something aimed at the spokes on the back wheel that would quickly tangle it up and make it unusable.

Let me get this right — The government’s concern is protecting Antifa and hoodrat looters/arsonists from being killed by suburban citizens protecting their homes and businesses. The government is not concerned about protecting citizens from the looting and arson itself.
Get a US map colored blue wherever Democrats won recent national elections.
Next get a map colored blue where recent riots, looting and arson have occurred.
