You need something with some range in addition to that.
Gone are the days when I could make decent groups from 500m with the bolt-action. But I'm looking to pick up another Mosin.
I have a house in a rural area. My husband was up there all last week, preparing for our eventual exodus. Anyhow, it’s not uncommon to hear the neighbors off in the distance shooting here and there. My husband said they were ALL shooting last week and it was coming from all directions.
