Many political analysts believe Buchanan’s challenge to Bush for the Republican nomination caused a split in the Republican block.
At the very least, his challenge opened the door for Perot’s run. I remember well that I had only wished Perot would have run as a Republican instead of going Third Party.
Nevertheless, G.W. Bush supporting anyone but the party’s sitting president (i.e. Trump) will be tacit admission that his father deserved to lose in 1992. I don’t think Bush 43 will want to make that leap.
If one looks at the painting on the left it would appear he has tits on his back. I am confused.
This, too, was intentional. They are floating this to see what the right’s reaction is going to be.
