Very good point. A similar oft-repeated submission-phrase is “Stay safe”. I have started to smile and politely reply “Stay free” when I hear that one. (Credit to David Knight for the idea.)
I’m scheduled for my cleaning next Monday. New procedure. I’m to call the dentist when I arrive and wait in the car until the exam room is ready. They’ll take my temperature when I go into the office. I asked if I should wear a mask for my cleaning, but the receptionist didn’t get the joke.
