Senore’ Cuomo has Never been accused of being a MENSA member,
Quite the opposite is certainly true.

Well, Cuomo said that 66% of new NY cases surveyed caught the virus despite staying home in lockdown
So presumably it was brought into the home and there, you stayed with it

Several grocery stores in our area have reported cases of employees having CV. However, it may be that some of them contracted it outside the stores.

The standard for spreading the disease has always been:

1. Bodily contact. Shaking hands, in the room with someone who is sick, etc.
2. Exchange of bodily fluids through coughing, sneezing, or being in close proximity of people with the virus for more than 15 minutes at a time.
3. Picking it up from a surface: Counters, doors, seats, etc.

This hasn’t changed since the beginning of viruses.

In addition, if you go back and read the first reports out of China—while the numbers were BS—the means of transmission haven’t changed. In fact, very little information of this disease has changed since the first couple of weeks in China.

The Western Media reports things “breathlessly” that were published in China in January. Its as if no one in the media read anything before the first of March.

And if the Flubros had read anything—instead of acting like apes with bones—they would know this stuff too.

Why should we believe anything we read about the spread of the ChiCom flu? This article included. I'll live my life based on principles and habits. It has done well so far.

I wash my hands because my mommy made me do it when I was a kid. I cover my mouth and nose when I cough and sneeze because my mommy made me do it when I was a kid. I don't go around touch or hugging strangers because my daddy slapped me silly when I was a kid. I don't sniff people's hair because, well because, that is just strange. Those are habits. My principles are based on logic and what has worked in the past. I am a conservative. That means I don't change easily. I resist any attempt to take my freedom and liberty from me, especially when the advice comes from so-called experts. I shall go on living my life without worrying because I know I will die one day. It is best to live life at its fullest everyday otherwise it is not worth living.

So the locked down caused more deaths because people were in close quarters all the time..????

In some places; yes. In others it slowed it. It depends on the number of high risk people in the closed spaces there were. Zero number over 60 meant very low risk.

At least that's the way I'm understanding it.

".... The odds are even higher if that person who goes shopping does not take steps for protection (mask and wash hands)...."

Why Masks Are Essentially Useless

Scott McKay at American Spectator explains why the mask is essentially useless: "....The mask is not an adequate defense against the COVID-19 virus, gang...."

"....The virus checks in at somewhere between 0.06 and 0.14 microns, meaning it’s too small for any commercially available mask to effectively filter it out. The pores on an N95 mask, which are the best masks you’re reasonably going to find, and the vast, vast majority of you are not going to have N95 masks but rather cloth masks, which perform far less well, are 0.3 microns....”

Washing your hand thoroughly is the best defense. I live and work on a farm so I am used to washing my hands when I come into the house after working outside.

And don't touch your eyes, nose or mouth, which is where the virus finds entry into the body.

But I haven't worn a mask since this whole thing started. Like the man says, they're useless. They only make the people who wear them "feel" good about themselves.

Which is the first clue you should have that these politicians and their "medical experts" don't have a clue about what they are saying when they make masks mandatory.

In the county where I live, the country commissioners make these determinations. Currently they make it a requirement that everybody who goes into a business establishment has to wear a mask....out of an abundance of caution. These are lay people deciding these things that affect our lives and economy. And yet they don't know that what they are requiring is useless.

“vast majority of you are not going to have N95 masks “

Well I have a whole box of 3M N95 mask here, guess I am good to go. I started reading about the virus back in the second week of Jan and started prepping. You can still find KN95 mask out on the net.

I wear a mask every time I go to the grocery store for fresh meat and milk. I do not want to bring something home to a person who is on chemo. My theory if a person wants to wear a mask, wear it. If a person does not want to wear a mask they don’t have too, it is there business.

If a business requires a mask, and a person does not want to wear mask. That person needs to find another business to shop at that does not require mask. It is up to the business owner for people to mask or not mask where I live at.

".... vast majority of you are not going to have N95 masks...."

You obviously did not read the rest of the article comment I made after you read the above statement. You missed the point completely.

The N95 or the KN95 masks that you brag about having, are worthless too against this virus. The openings in them are .30 microns. The virus size ranges from .06 to .14 microns, plenty of room for the virus to get in and out of the N95 masks.

IOW, the N95 masks don't stop the virus at all whether you wear it or someone else wears it. It gives you false sense of security and makes you feel superior to those that don't wear it.

BUT THE MASK DOES ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO PROTECT YOU, THIS PERSON ON CHEMO OR ANYONE ELSE FOR THAT MATTER.

The only people who wear a mask that is ineffective are the "Karens" of the world who think they are being smarter than everyone else. I betcha you wear one in your car with the windows rolled up and when you are alone. You probably wear latex gloves too, which are ten times worse that just washing your hands frequently if you don't change them after you touch something while wearing them.

The local grocery story has a sign on the door that says the county requires people to wear masks to enter. I have never worn a mask in the store and never will. There's nobody at the front door stopping me. When I get in the store, not only does anybody working there not say anything to me, but many of the other customer aren't wearing masks either. And only some of the employees.

Forget your KN95 mask for "protecting" you from this virus. They are useless for that.

"The virus size ranges from .06 to .14 microns" Wow, you are very upset, sorry to get you so upset. Below is a good read on the subject. It is a person choice, my house hold will wear a mask on the side of caution. You can believe what you want to believe it is a free world. I will believe what I want, it is a free world. Sorry to offend you.

This whole thing is about control, not health.

I have lived through every virus pandemic since I was born and this is the first one the politicians decided to control people over. And you're one of them. They have you believing that you should do as they tell you to do. Wear a mask they say, so you wear a mask.

In 1968 to 1970 there was a pandemic of the swine flu that killed over a 100,000 Americans and a million people world wide. I graduated college in 1969 and I don't recall the politicians, the media or the medical community rising up to warn people or tell them how they should conduct themselves. Not a peep. Why? Because they knew it wouldn't do any good. It was part of life and death. The risk of living in a risky world. Nature's way of culling the population.

And yet here they having you quaking in your boots that you're going to get this virus and die or give it to someone else. Limiting people's movement's to their homes is the best way to pass the virus to others, not to prevent it. 90% plus of the people who get it, recover. Many people who have, it don't even exhibit overt symptoms. They don't even know they have it. And 90% plus of those who do get it and die, are aged with other medical issues that prevent their immune symptoms from fighting off the effects of the virus. Back in the day, they called that dying from old age or natural causes. Now, heaven forbid, with the panic instilled into the population by the media, this virus is going to kill you. Please....

And yet here we sit with about the same number of deaths as the 69-70 swine flu with a larger population today. What changed this time? We managed to destroy our booming economy instead of letting the thing play out like we always have done.

We shot ourselves in the foot trying to treat a hangnail on our small toe. The lockdowns, quarantines, masks, social distancing, all of it didn't manage to stop the virus from killing about the same amount of people as the swine flu did 50 years ago without taking any precautions.

This was all about control, not health.
