Unbelievable. So now POS 'Deer in the Headlights' Red Ned Lamont is hiding behind Rhode Island Gov. Gina Raimondo's skirts, and suddenly backing off on his promise to reopen hair salons and barber shops this Wednesday.

"Early June"... what specifically does THAT mean?? Watch: The goalposts will be moved yet again in "early June". We probably won't see the reopening of hair and nail salons, barber shops, bars and most businesses until *maybe* sometime in freakin' August!

Even Fuhrer Whitmer in Michigan is announcing she is allowing the reopening of BARS and restaurants in her state. Here in CT, restaurants (NO bars) will only be 'allowed' to reopen at a super-reduced capacity, and *outdoors only* on Wednesday, May 20th. Which will kill off many if not most restaurants in CT.

I *hate* this state!!

My state is a mess, just like my wife’s hair.

First they were going to open but without hair drying. Then there was a report about salons who do hair for African-Americans going crazy about that and getting him to relent on the hair dryers. Now he’s pushing it all back 10 days.

It’s been sixteen weeks since I had my hair cut. I snipped around my ears but it all grew back. Problem is it’s round and thick as a beehive on top.

So according to the article now decided to cancel the May 20 plans Two days prior to reopening after some employees said they were scared or the owners didn’t feel they had enough time to get necessary equipment, despite the fact that his rules were announced approximately three weeks prior to give them time to prepare. No one was forcing these businesses to open, if they didn’t feel it was safe enough They could have stayed closed.

My local barber posted on their Facebook page that they had spent the last two weeks preparing their shop, getting needed supplies, and putting a plan together for scheduling. They have said they will no longer attempt to schedule or plan to reopen until After the state says they can open and follows through with allowing them to open as they cannot take the financial strain of being strung along only to have it pulled out from under them multiple times.

Check out the #OpenCTNow Facebook group if you have a Facebook account. People here are getting riled up! The salon flip flop seems to be the straw that broke the camel’s back.
