Exactly applicable, I believe. Judge Sullivan is asking for amicus briefs, which he had previously reused, in order to frame issues not in dispute.
Which is why Ginsburg, who agrees with the result of Roe, has said it was improperly decided.
And yet, when Sidney Powell sent him some, he told her to stop doing it.
This judge has no intention of letting the government drop this case. But if he doesn't, the case will get appealed and the government will refuse to prosecute.
You would think. I've been saying this same thing. If Flynn's guilty plea was perjury, then the government agents who coerced him into it must be guilty of suborning perjury.
I believe. Judge Sullivan is asking for amicus briefs, which he had previously reused, in order to frame issues not in dispute.
I would defiantly join your opinion if that is what happens. I wasnt thinking along those lines, but Greenlaw would definitely come into play.

Good to know. Its the first I have heard of this. Thanks
P.S. I dont know how to type in italics, Sorry

Did you just say that Ginsburg does not agree with how Roe was decided? If so Im ashamed to admit I didnt know that!

You dont have to be a lawyer to be a good reporter. Thanks for the info.
He doesnt have a case there either, but there is no precedent for what hes doing, so it isnt forbidden. One of the reasons there is no precedent is that what he is doing is so outrageous, and the fact pattern so uncommon, that no judge has ever stepped out of bounds in exactly this way.
I doubt Sullivan brainstormed this subterfuge on his own. We are facing a massive criminal conspiracy here and Sullivan is playing for time.
Fake name equals fake lawyer
No always. Im trying to not allow my personal opinions effect my business. Im pretty sure you can understand that Im a conservative. I think you get the message.
Time, headlines, fake news. "They" have been able to pull this sort of crap for years. It's really obvious since Trump became a viable candidate for POTUS.
“It doesn’t mean the judge is free to exercise his caprice.”
I don’t get it. What has the judges Chevy got to do with this?
She agrees with the result, but not Justice Blackmun’s method of deciding it.
Sorry for the mix up. I didn’t even notice your name. I was referring to the author of the piece, Sharp Steelblade, Esq.
It’s my fault for being too subtle, and too curt.
Unless there is a personal apology by Todd, on a Live Meet the Press show, it doesn’t count at all. If not, he should be fired.
Yes, by his illogic, maybe! But I’m not sure you’re under oath, precisely, when you are entering a plea.
“The question I have is why Flynn didnt enter a Nolo plea.”
No clue, obviously. But he was not getting good counsel, that seems clear. My opinion, from a very cursory knowledge, is that Covington & Whoever (I probably wouldn’t even remember their name except for the media-abused pro-life kids) had a flagrant conflict of interest, and they should have told him they could not represent him.
LoL I think the BNJ is a parody of sorts No one would name there child Sharp and I have never heard of the last name Steelblade I googled the name and all that came up were kitchen utensils
Although I have to say I like some of the articles. They seems to make sense to me as a lawyer. So the writer is either plagiarizing or has some legal research experience or just a lawyer like me who doesnt want his name associated with what he writes.
She agrees with the result, but not Justice Blackmuns method of deciding it. (Reference is to Justice Ginsberg said Roe isnt really about the womans choice, is it? She continued Its about the doctors freedom to practice it wasnt woman-centered, it was physician-centered.
I totally agree but I am focused more on how Blackmun sat down in a medical library and then used what he had found to justify his opinion, That is strictly verboten. The appellate courts must only consider what was entered into evidence at the trial level.
