Staged photos in the article. On whom has this company tested this product on? Where is the data? “putting its arms around the virus and getting it out of the body” doesn’t seem like a scientific way to describe anything as complex as antibody/ antigen reactions. No caveat for severe anaphylaxis from injecting foreign proteins? Big bogus award for this “company”
SRNE stock is up 167% so far today.
RE: SRNE stock is up 167% so far today.
Stock value only reflect the PSYCHOLOGY of traders for the moment. Wait a few more trading days till we see the actual SCIENTIFIC data, not the CEO’s PR announcement.
Well, sure sounds promising. But as of now it seems to have been tested only on cells in petri dishes.Lots and lots of new drugs for all kinds of diseases succeed at that early stage, only to fail later on.
P
the very last place i worked for enacted that in their ERISA self-fund H&W plan the last year i was there.
(I was still smoking then - wife’s employer provided coverage which she declined as it was cheaper to have her as a spouse on mine, so they also penalized that)
I asked if same-sex partners are being penalized.
It took a while for them to respond...they were a protected class.
I johnny paychecked my employer before January had hardly started.
Thanks.
This is just a success in petri dishes.
Maybe it will work in the real world, maybe not.
In addition to what American in Israel posted, let me add two observations:
* Insulin (developed in 1921) was the big pharmaceutical breakthrough for diabetes. As American in Israel says, most of the rest is diet.
* Don’t smoke — right away most lung diseases never manifest themselves. Air pollution (actual pollution, not CO2) was a big factor in the West until all the expensive and effective measures were taken to clean it up, over the past several decades. China, of course, is exempt from those environmental regulations.
You should be skeptical — that’s why double-blind random-assignment clinical trials are always necessary. I, OTOH, am skeptical and hopeful. Very hopeful, because antibody treatments are a proven technology in other applications.
