Saying Zimmerman’s actions initiated their encounter is exactly stating the facts. That’s all I’m saying. There was nothing wrong in that, nothing in doing that that justified Martin’s subsequent actions...In the same way, the McMichaels did nothing illegal or improper in following Arbery. All that will be relevant are the facts of what happened immediately preceding the shooting, which are not at all clear at this point, same as in the Zimmerman case.
Excellent material. Saying that Zimmerman followed Martin stems from taking his reconstructed telephone conversation with his supposed girlfriend as truthful. The manipulations of lawyer Crump and his associates and of the corrupt prosecution though make her an unreliable source for anything, even as to her identity as a witness at trial. In essence, Zimmerman was portrayed as following Martin in order to provide Martin with a justification for his ambush of and potentially lethal attack on Zimmerman.
What are you talking about, he was talking to 911 when he got out of truck trying to see where Martin went.
Trayvon Martin was on his cell phone as well, talking to his girlfriend. Yet the girlfriend, one Brittany Eugene, AKA “Diamond Eugene,” was so contradictory, overwrought, and useless as a witness that she could not be put on the stand at Zimmerman’s trial. So, according to post-trial investigative reporting, one Rachel Jeantel was coached and substituted as a witness posing as Martin’s girlfriend. That is the source of the “cracker perv is following me” story that was invented to justify Martin’s attack on Zimmerman.

Funny how that never got much pushback as a racially tinged term, or that it was ludicrously misapplied to George Zimmerman, an Obama supporter of Peruvian-American lineage. Of course, young Trayvon Martin was not interested in nice-to-meet you chit chat when he ambushed Zimmerman and began pummelling him.
