Oh yeah, Little Richard was a fag alright, but became a Christian. Don’t know if he fagged out after becoming a Christian - many do - but the important thing is he had Jesus and in Heaven now.
Good golly Ms Molly
Good entertainer.
RIP
Yes, and it always bugs me when FReepers post a YouTube link to some performer doing their whatever hit song but in recent times.
In some cases they just want the live performance not the MTV video or audio from the actual time so they’ll get a performance from some geriatric band croaking through their hit without the original horns or strings and it sounds like crap. The problem here is often nobody has a recording from the earlier time, and of course YouTube is going to favor the 4K/HD version recorded recently, as opposed to the crappy Ed Sullivan video tape version from 1965.
I recently tried to post Boz Scaggs doing Lowdown (from 1976), posting him doing it live in 2016. It is NOT the same.
I’d rather watch the older Ed Sullivan video as that’s how I remembered them in my youth, and they don’t look like old men, similar to the old guy I see in the mirror lately.
He was gay....he admitted it many times
His strict religious background vexed him over being an admitted homosexual at times
His son is adopted despite being married at the time
He was arrested a few times for liking to watch a man and woman haves sex in his car as he drove around or parked. He had young male acquaintances usually white who were obviously effete twinks
He was however instrumental in rock and roll
Very
Bisexual is a myth
Like a unicorn
I hate to break to you on Prince but I know a limo driver here in Nashville who saw Prince give head to a teen boy
And this woman aint no liar
>>Its just that hollywood and the music industry has been pushing gays, talented as they may be, in front of us for decades and now we have kids who dont know what sex they are.
Media is trying to push that today in reports of Little Richard’s passing (as they did with David Bowie’s passing). Neither wanted to be championed as a homosexual (or even a bisexual).
The media HATES Little Richard’s final interview where he speaks out against crossdressing and homosexuality.
Richard was probably molested as a boy. He got an early start dressing in drag and singing as “Princess LaVonne” in small clubs. He cruised bus stations for men. Later when he hit it big he paid people (men and women) to have sex in front of him so he could watch.
I think when he had his first big religious awakening in the 50s he was fearful of God and fate. Other rising stars were cut down early in their lives or sentenced to prison or drafted in that time from 1957-1960. He got out before he was discovered. In the 60s he returned to secular music and eventually got into hard drugs (”I was smoking marijuana and angel dust, and I was mixing heroin with coke.”). Even in the 70s he questioned whether he should be making another attempt at secular music.

Amen. Funny, talented guy who spoke about the Lord and never caused problems for others. He had class, which can’t be said of many entertainers today.
Bone cancer.
He would’ve been 74 then. “People” reports he died of bone cancer
RIP
Definitely, Prince stole his looks and flamboyance from Little Richard. And so did Jimmy Hendrix. If memory serves, Hendrix played for/with Little Richard. I see Prince as a little bit of both of them plus a bit of Michael Jackson.
