Horsehockey. When Kagan can be confirmed to the Supreme Court with VASTLY less experience - indeed no judicial experience - than him, don’t tell me his resume is thin for a nomination to the Circuit Court.
Are we nominating judges or judicial activists? There is no denying the importance of the DC circuit. This is obviously a patronage appointment McConnell has secured for his home state. I wonder what his personal connection is to the guy?
McConnell needs to keep the Senate in session 24/7 with the clock running on the Dem 30 hours of debate delay tactics. If Mitch did that, the judges would be on the bench within two weeks.
