Just 4 days before Trump took office in January 2017, the Obama admin signed a new agreement with Cuba for cooperation between our law enforcement agencies and intel agencies and theirs. Laughable, I know. But why bother if your administration is leaving in 4 days? Unless of course you are leaving moles behind.
If it was orchestrated by the Trump administrations there would not be any ground forces involved. Being that Maduro is a narco terrorist Trump, if he wanted, would send a drone and the last words of Maduro would be “what’s that Noise?” just before the hellfire hit.
Hearing about this, I am reminded of movie CLEAR AND PRESENT DANGER...Harrison Ford was in the movie...It was about some covert operation in South America...
Evidently these guys did not check into Silvercorp because it did not look legit; it looked smelly to me ...
I wonder if these guys were connected to a US soldier who was arrested a few years ago who also wanted to go fight in Venezuela in some coup scheme >>>soldier was named Jarrett William Smith>
JARRET WILLIAM SMITH

Has a Ukraine connection and a Florida connection.
Curiously, it is Democrat Bill Richardson that has been running around trying to get them back.
“One thing I’ve learned is that these countries don’t give up American prisoners for free. There’s always a cost,” Richardson said. “I don’t want to get into details and we’re not at that stage yet. But we have an obligation as a country, and I’m not speaking as a government official, to try to secure the release of the Green Berets. They’re American military people. They’re American citizens. They have rights and we should try to get them out.” -—— https://spectrumlocalnews.com/tx/san-antonio/news/2020/10/26/texas-family-pushing-to-get-son-freed-from-venezuelan-prison
Yes there is always a cost, like with the Iran deal...
