This order extends her original Executive Order which basically calls for a state of emergency in Oregon. Practically speaking, I don’t know exactly what this will mean, but it does continue to give her and many agencies sweeping authority.

Here in Josephine County there’s been less than a hundred deaths, total! Yet most of our small businesses will be bankrupted by this extension in reaction to that minimal number!

So did the number of Dead On Arrival (DOA) cases - folks who should have gone to the hospital, don't because they are afraid of getting COVID there. And rather than catch the problem early, the problem ramps up exponentially and they die just before the ambulance arrives or on the way to the hospital. Oregon's DOA cases just went through the roof.
Also, Oregon's state budget died and so did it's economy. Why? Because it depended on business tax revenues and business died in droves. It was that quick.
Oregon's public pension program and those depending on public pensions there just died. Both are up the creek without a paddle.
