The DOJ needs to start holding public hearings, with subpoenas, witnesses placed under oath. If the Congress can do it, why not the Executive branch?
Strzok certainly knew the Field Office was closing the case because he begged them to not close it 20 minutes later. Strzok was on the Meuller team at the beginning. Everyone leading the Meuller team had to know the Field Office was closing the case.

We are already in that bad place. These revelations are confirming it again for those who are now paying attention. A great injustice was done to Senator Ted Stevens - AK more than 10 years ago. It caused him to be defeated in a general election and shift the balance of power in the US Senate. The court ordered a special investigation into the federal prosecutors’ unethical and illegal activities. In the end, effectively nothing happened to the criminals. So here we are, only things are worse. The federal government using Flynn tried to take out an elected POTUS. And the left is unconcerned. We can’t even agree on the rule of law. We are in that bad place my friend.
