Another far-left “Business Insider” smear job and probably not even accurate.

Notice NO mention that Gov. Comrade Newsome placed a ONE BILLION DOLLAR order with Red China for masks and paid for it ahead of any delivery.

Who does he think he is, Obama and his $150 Billion -Plus to Iran for three hostages?

Now if Cuomo and his Motley Crew of reds and stupids made a “blind deal” with Red China without checking on them re contract terms of verification of manufacturing ability and delivery, then the shits on them. The same for Newsome and his Red China bailout financial deal. Plus Newsome is paying $5.00 per mask instead of the $2-3.00 available elsewhere including in the U.S.

What a triumvirate of stupid traitors and power-hungry corrupt politicians - Newsome, Cuomo and DeBlasio. Red China’s best business partners in the US political arena. Nancy Pelosi move over. You’re a piker compared to these cretins.

There are people that think or thought they could insert themselves as middle men and make a big profit. They would source the PPE and then fulfill the contract with the government agency. The problem was that they could not source the PPE. I cautioned a friend who thought he had a source from doing this.

The guy tweets and says he can supply them, the Task Force tells NY that this person says he can fill the bill, and NY dishes out $69 Million w/o a bit of looking at the guy’s creds....Trump’s fault!

Isn't it the job of investigative journalists to find these things out before they run with the story?

Politico doesn't.

Who pays before delivery? Unless it’s on a credit card?

Albany may be trying to distract from the nursing home scandal.

Gov. Newsom just paid YUGE money to a failed ChiCom green car company to make face masks.

If they are this stupid, people ought to rig up a $199 Wal-Mart garage air-compressor and try to sell it to them (NY state) with a strap on mask, for $3,000 each.

Albany doesn’t give a damn about other people’s lives. Case in point: the nursing home scandal.

Why in Hades would Albany give a damn about wisely spending other people’s money?

So...let me get this straight. Cuomo was getting spastic because there were no ventilators. He was hyperventilating on national television, some guy saw it and tweeted Trump that he could get ventilators.

So, in a few days, when the press feeding frenzy starts anew that there are no ventilators, Trump shrugs his shoulders and tells the task force "Why don't they contact this guy? He says he can get respirators."

So they suggest "Call this guy."

And they do. And like some dumbass watching television at 3:00 AM because he can't sleep and sees an add on a commercial channel, they pull out their credit card and slap down the money sight unseen.

Probably didn't even look at specs, who used those types of ventilators, if they were any good, what kind of support they got, who he had sold to in the past, nothing.

I would bet money these Leftist douchebags just did the equivalent of screaming out their credit card number while beginning to watch the front door for delivery.

And this is why the Left should not be allowed anywhere near any lever of power. They are abject idiots.

Contrast this with Trump, who they all characterize as mentally incompetent. This excerpt is from "Art of The Deal", and the excerpts are all in the book that deal with the famous (infamous to Lefists) Wollman Rink Project in Central Park. It had fallen into disrepair, and after seven years and $13 million down the drain, the Leftists in charge of New York government were worse off than they started...they just could...not...do...it. A skating rink. They couldn't get a skating rink rebuilt. Here is Trump's account of his handling of it which took place over the course of four months:

Excerpts from "Art of The Deal

"...Anthony Gliedman stops by to discuss the Wollman Rink project. Gliedman was housing commissioner under Ed Koch. At the time we fought a lot, and even though I ended up beating him in court, I always thought he was bright. I don’t hold it against people that they have opposed me. I’m just looking to hire the best talent, wherever I can find it. Tony has been helping to coordinate the rebuilding of the Wollman Skating Rink in Central Park, a project the city failed at so miserably for seven years. In June I offered to do the job myself. Now we’re ahead of schedule, and Tony tells me that he’s set up a press conference for Thursday to celebrate the last important step in construction: pouring the concrete. It doesn’t sound like much of a news event to me, and I ask him if anyone is likely to show up. He says at least a dozen news organizations have RSVPd yes. So much for my news judgment. .."

"...Norma comes in and tells me that we have to switch the Wollman Rink press conference from Thursday to Wednesday. Henry Stern, the New York City parks commissioner, has a conflict: on Thursday he is also scheduled to dedicate a new Central Park playground on the Upper West Side, underwritten by Diana Ross, the singer. The problem is that there’s no way we can move our concrete-pouring, which was why we called the press conference in the first place. But what the hell? I’ll wing it and things will work out. I’m reluctant to give Henry a hard time. Last week, my security force refused to let him into Wollman without my written permission. This was taking good security a step too far. As you can imagine, Henry wasn’t thrilled. .."

"I have a press conference for the Wollman Rink. When I get there, I’m amazed. There are at least twenty reporters and photographers milling around. Henry Stern, the parks commissioner, goes to the microphone first and he is very complimentary to me. He says that if the city had tried to undertake the current renovation by itself, “we would now be awaiting Board of Estimate approval for what Donald Trump has already done.” .."

"When it’s my turn, I explain that we’ve laid twenty-two miles of pipes, that they’ve all been thoroughly tested and there are no leaks, that the project is ahead of schedule by at least a month, and under budget by about $400,000. I also announce that we’ve set a grand opening for November 13—and that we have a show planned for that day which will include most of the world’s great skaters. .."

"After I finish, the reporters ask a million questions. Finally Henry and I step down into the rink. If we can’t have a real concrete-pouring, at least we’ll have a ceremonial one. A couple of workmen pull over a wheelbarrow full of wet concrete and point it down toward us. Henry and I shovel some concrete onto the pipes while the photographers click away. As many times as I’ve done these things, I have to say I still find them a little ridiculous. Think of it: a couple of guys in pinstripe suits shoveling wet concrete. But I like to be accommodating. As long as they want to shoot, I’ll shovel. .."

"I walk over to the Wollman Rink, to watch the pouring of the concrete. This morning all of the papers had stories about our press conference. When I get to the rink, it’s surrounded by a convoy of cement trucks lined up as if they’re in a military operation. HRH, the construction company in charge of the project, has done a fantastic job moving things along, but this has to be the most incredible sight yet: thousands of pounds of wet concrete being poured from truck after truck into this huge rink. It’s like watching the world’s biggest cake get iced. Even though the press conference was yesterday, I notice photographers and camera crews all over the place. This is the event everyone was waiting for. .."

"I’m leafing through the New York Times when I come to a huge picture of the concrete being poured onto Wollman Rink. It’s on the front page of the second section. This story just won’t quit. .."

"Even small jobs can get out of control if you’re not attentive. For nearly seven years I watched from the window of my office as the city tried to rebuild Wollman Rink in Central Park. At the end of that time, millions of dollars had been wasted and the job was farther from being completed than when the work began. They were all set to rip out the concrete and start over when I finally couldn’t stand it anymore, and I offered to do it myself. The job took four months to complete at a fraction of the city’s cost..."

The contrast of how this was handled by Trump versus the Leftists in power is an object example of why Leftists should not be allowed in power.

And perhaps the best thing about this TRUE story is that is is irrefutable, and it MAKES LEFTISTS ABSOLUTELY INSANE.

When you discuss it with them, you can see their respiration rate increase, see (and hear) the gritting of the teeth, their faces turn red, and when they do talk, their speech is laced with spittle and obscenity. I love it. They cannot stand it, because to any rational eye, it shows for all the world exactly who the incompetent, untalented idiots are.

And when they lay out their credit card for a purchase, sight unseen, for ventilators they didn't need in the first place, the contrast cannot be missed or denied.

And that drives them out of their ever-loving minds.

The story about NY getting scammed for millions broke yesterday. Today they have to somehow blame Trump.
