“Another obvious hit piece on Trump by Buchanan.”
Please point to where Pat mentions Trump. The voices in your head don’t count.
Careful—he mentions Trump in the middle of the article, with the clear intent of tagging him with the image of “a wet mitten.” Buchanan should know that imagery will not work against Trump.
(You and I have had previous discussions where I tried to explain that when you attack your debate opponent, it makes you look very weak. Today I advise you to work on your self-confidence a little more, for your own sake.)
The decision to shut down the economy was an executive-led decision. Any narrative spun against this decision feeds directly into the anti-Trump narrative. The stealthiest among anti-Trumpers are very aware they need to sow their anti-Trump seeds in a stealth—or more aptly, passive-aggressive—style.
One way we can know this article is politically, not factually, driven is that it pretends to know the general outcomes that will emerge from a brief period of volatile change while appearing ignorant of the outcome-determining specifics.
