Thanks for posting but if you read the replies you will realize that you are not exactly mainstream here at Good Old FR.
I’m not either. I expect higher death rates than are predicted as we move away from the lockdown. But, OTOH, we have to do it. The Freepers are right about that and I agree with them. But they are looking the other way when it comes to projected deaths. Putting too much faith in the very iffy projections from the antibody testing.
I think we dodged a bullet with the shutdown. Apparently most Freepers think the magic flattening would have happened anyway and the the shutdown was a big mistake. I don’t agree with that.
But I do agree that the Governors, at least the Dem Governors are overdoing it. They love power and they’ve never had power like this before. Ambrosia is addictive.
The death rate is going to go down, not up. Those who die have health problems, so healthy young people should have no problem with it.

It is? I read that flu deaths were estimates, which I assume would include extrapolations that based upon those with symptoms, but included those without, as is the case with estimated Covid infections and deaths. Where do you see that such an estimate as 61,000 flu deaths were only those with symptoms?
In addition, using an average flu season avoids such cases as 100,000 or more flu deaths in America , and the issue that the response to such pandemics was not proportionate in comparison to that of Covid.
