I know and thats the problem. (Don’t remember the title of the ruling!) Dirksen warned us what would result from that USSC decision. We are seeing the consequences of that ruling unfolding in state budgets. The US Constitution guaranteed the states a Republican form of government but don’t specify the details. I interpret that as state governments should mirror federal in form. That 1960s USSC differed from me and issued a ruling that tilted state governments too far into mob-ocracy. A new ruling needs to be done to tilt it back.
