Looks like another accidental spill, so to spek: the virus "got out" again --- got out to the rest of China.
If we had simply not screwed Japan at Versailles, we might have been able to convince them to stop at Manchuria, let the Chinese figure out their own problems, allied with Japan, France, and the British, and left Hitler and Stalin to pummel each other into oblivion. That would have been better for Europe, and better for Asia. But hindsight is always 20-20, and Wilson in 1919 was too concerned with his legacy (just like Obama 100 years later) to let something as simple as 5-5-3 get in the way of his wonderful (/s) treaty.
Those were nationalist Chinese, not ChiComs. It would be the same as supporting Taiwan today.
Indeed. That’s why I say that Woodrow Wilson did more damage to this country than any other President, and it’s not even close.
We ended up helping Mao more than Chiang Kai-Shek.
Unfortunately true. My point was if you were comparing the sleeping partners, 1940 China is not the same as 2020 China.
We were more concerned with the Japs getting the British and Dutch colonies in Asia, than China.
It’s China’s Nanking Massacre of the world.
In reality, the USA should have warned China with a very thorough Nuke test like Japan got. In essence, the Chicoms nuked America already albeit zero physical damage and minimal death but the economic impact of NYC and other regions being economically vaporized and most of the population hiding from the fallout and radiation. They also “sunk” “unsinkable” Carriers and made a good portion of our military unemployable. The DNC is just loving it:”It’s so easy!”
Pearl Harbor American Military killed: More than 2,300 killed!
9/11 fatalities: 2,996!
34,614 Deaths in America from the novel coronavirus in the United States! (Fox News, 17 April 2020)
My prayer is that this will motivate people to avoid as much as possible purchasing Chinese mfg stuff.
Add that to the number of Americans killed by Chinese troops in The Korean War.
That is an excellent goal!
I didn’t know that Smithfield Hams was/is owned by the ChiComs until yesterday. I just cancelled that from our grocery pickup order for tomorrow.
No, not only no, but Hell no. This China Flu stuff is not a Pearl Harbor attack.
The planes smashing into the World Trade Towers & elsewhere never should have been compared to Pearl Harbor, but it was, at least in terms of the number of deaths. It was compared over and over to sell invading Afghanistan and Iraq in wars that had clear exit plans.
The Japanese Imperial Navy attacked Pearl Harbor with their air armada that was clearly marked as military aircraft of Japan. Shortly thereafter they attacked other Pacific Islands including the invasion of the Philippines.
Unless there are little ChiCom banners on each China virus, it’s not an attack that can be compared to Pearl Harbor.
Now if someone suggested this flu is some Deep State conspiracy, I might buy into it. Comparing this to Pearl Harbor would be a Deep State ploy, just like the trade towers, to wage more war.

Don’t know how of our troops were killed by ChiComs.
Nah...just Forgive all our debt...or...we just don’t pay it.
No. I dont think theyd intentionally infect their own population. What I think is most interesting about this China thing though is that it appears to me that theyve given up trying to eradicate it an are now just planning to ride thru it. Assuming that the death rate is 5%, they have 1.4 billion people so that means 70 million dead. But that will leave them with 1.393 billion people so they dont care. It will get rid of the weaker population And purify the gene pool. Thats what they are thinking.
Point number 1: "The first confirmed case is from November 17."
The original source: Coronavirus: Chinas first confirmed Covid-19 case traced back to November 17
"...Some of the cases were likely backdated after health authorities had tested specimens taken from suspected patients.
"...Interviews with whistle-blowers from the medical community suggest Chinese doctors only realized they were dealing with a new disease in late December."
"...According to the government data seen by the Post, a 55 year-old from Hubei province could have been the first person to have contracted Covid-19 on November 17."
The original source did not claim Chinese authorities knew in November. So as the story gets passed around from its source, it changes. It is going from a "maybe in November" to "they knew in November".Chinese doctors realized there was a outbreak in December, and think it started in November. That is different than knowing it started in November.
Point number 2: Bias confirmation.
"Did you get that? Not only did the Chinese Communist regime know that the virus spread by contact, and lie about it. It shut down the infected province to travel inside China, but continued to send people from there all around the world."
Communist governments cover things up. This is not new. China tried to cover up the 2002 SARS outbreak too, but a whistle blower let the world know about it.
Doctor who exposed Sars cover-up is under house arrest in China, family confirms
Dr. Yanyong exposed the CCP's cover up of SARs in 2002. Sound familiar?
Point 3: Questionable and historical events as evidence:
"Does that remind you of anything? Maybe old stories of U.S. soldiers giving smallpox-infected blankets to Indian tribes they hoped to wipe out? Or the German general staff shipping Lenin to Russia, to bring down its tottering regime in 1917, and knock it out of the war?"
The stories about U.S. soldiers giving blankets to indians goes to Ward Churchill, who was eventually sacked for plagiarizing another researcher's work to make that claim. While history often repeats is a axiom, which history is repeating is open to debate, and is not proof by itself of any individual argument.
Point 4: Hanlon's Razor: "Never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity."
Restricting travel out of Wuhan to China made sense. But if they restricted travel from Wuhan to the rest of the world, that would include foreign nationals who could not get home. That would raise the question why international air travel was locked down. Now that it is out in the open, China is trying to spread conspiracies that the U.S. started it. That qualifies as stupid in my book.
