• Stop the pandemic.
• Keep the economy going.
• Keep the healthcare system from being overwhelmed.

The FIRST big point he makes is that our curve has only flattened because of the lockdown/mitigation.

Ok but ... here is Sweden's chart:

And their deaths per million is about 115 whereas ours is about 85. Pretty comparable and they are probably past their new cases peak. So arguably mitigation has done little in the grand scheme. Yes, MAYBE saved the lives of many (many of whom are likely to die of something else OR THIS in a few months) ... but structurally, no real difference.

As we test more people, the death rate is going up, showing that this virus is like 40-50 times more deadly than the flu. Also, the virus is apparently transmissible through having a face to face conversation with someone, no coughing or sneezing is required.
