There won’t be a doctor left standing, including my second son’s delivering doctor, who was once targeted.
What was it that the doctor was accused of ?
Violating his hypocritical oath by performing abortions. Unfortunately, we’ve come to such a pass that it’s regularly done by obstetricians, including the one who delivered my second-born son. There were demonstrations outside his office, and some wannabe John Brown had him on his hit list. I didn’t know it at the time. Then it flared up about him years later.
I’m not going to be terribly sympathetic on that matter as I’m pro-life. Unless done to explicitly save the life of the mother (i.e. ectopic pregnancy), there’s no moral or ethical excuse for them to be performed.
Too many of those involved in “the business” here in the U.S. are ghouls.
Well, I’m not terribly sympathetic about slavery, either. But John Brown’s brand of terrorism we can do without, whatever the issue. Ultimately, slavery ended despite the horrors of John Brown and Nat Turner. Abortion will, too. Justice is a process, and it takes centuries.
Sometimes swift, brutal and decisive action has to be taken against evil practices in order to bring about their end.
Turner and Brown would express feelings that if either of their actions helped in even a small way to bring about the end of human bondage on American soil, it was justified.
