Mattel
Even then there is some theft, if not from the gov.:
Mattel vs. Chinese cyberthieves: It's no game - CBS News WENZHOU, China -The email seemed unremarkable: a routine request by Mattel's (MAT) chief executive for a new vendor payment to China....Satisfied, the executive wired over $3 million to the Bank of Wenzhou, in China. ...Chinese police froze the account that very morning. Two days later, on May 6, Mattel got its money back, according to the letter. -- https://www.cbsnews.com/news/mattel-vs-chinese-cyberthieves-its-no-game/
Thanks. I’ve no clue on navy ships. Article just sounds like China stole blueprints and engineering schematics. Whether from Russia or us. They’re incredibly good at spying (aka Diane Feinstein), and sometimes they have people like Bill Clinton handing them stuff. If more toward Russian maybe China actually bought the plans from one of those upstanding oligarch’s?
Thanks PAR35. It’s out of my baliwick completely. I wouldn’t know a US ship from a Chinese junk on a good day...well not that bad but...just sounds like China stole stuff.
The Russian fire was a year ago.
ChiCom quality control at its finest.
In the U.S. Navy every recruit is trained in basic firefighting in boot camp. I wonder if the PLA Navy gets that training.
I’d recommend taking it out to sea at full speed into the prevailing wind.....it’ll help get rid of the smoke, probably help clean those black areas on the hull also.
Nothin beats a fire onboard a Chinese aircraft carrierin Port, before launch...
It’s got to be worth something if it go’s down in port.
