Sure youre still not a Dem? Lets seea state with an extremely low population density does not see the need for strict social distancing policies. Thats true but population density isnt the reason for the lack of a tyrannical policy as you seemingly imply.
Her reasoning is her job is to protect the right of the people to take responsibility and care for themselves. Please share your thoughts on that.
There have been 446 total deaths in Pennsylvania, out of a total population of 13 million. Taken 13 million one-dollar bills, put a special mark on 443 of them, mix them randomly and line them up end-to-end. The line of bills will be 1,231 miles in length, and stretch from Philadelphia to Oklahoma City. Now blindfold yourself, walk along that line, and stop at any point, then reach down and pick up a dollar bill. Your chance of picking up one of the 443 marked ones is the same as your chance of dying from Coronavirus in Pennsylvania.
That’s the way it should be. Give people the necessary information and let them make their decisions.
The gal must not be a Chicken Freeper.
Knows the US CONSTITUTION. Did groceries, half had regular medical mask, 1/4th home made, rest none, half the glasses people had them pulled below the nose.
NO TP, few boxes facial tissue, plenty diapers, more milk than there has been. The TP isle was stripped bare except maybe a dozen facial tissue boxes. NO FREAKING NEXIUM! I take 80 mg to 100 mg a day because of Gastro damage to Vegus Nerve. With out it I develop Barrett’s Esogopus Precancerous, OTC does NOT have the same % of medicine as a Prescription. Dod took it off the Military formulary 2 yrs ago, I now have 2 spots. They left on the 3 that doesn’t work and I have reactions to. Generic is even worse.
If they allowed 20,000 every night to watch a Sixers, or Pens, or Flyers game, how many deaths would PA have gotten by now?
But for now, the only state that has lower Covid-19 case numbers is Alaska”
Yet the whole of Alaska is locked down. Of course if you have been to Alaska you will know how laughable that actually is.
To quote a WHOLE BUNCH of Freepers, screw them, if they get Corona they shouldn’t get any healthcare.
Meant to ping you to post #28
Fake deaths due to dying with corona and not from corona would be higher, maybe.
Then the Panic Pushers would demand it be killed to stop the spread...
I have an alternative to your read which is essentially your comment without the irony and sarcasm which I hope is deliberate. When cowards cower in their homes (alliteration intended) because they fear being infected by a virus which seems only slightly more lethal than seasonal flu, they feel less like cowards if government forces “shelter in place” and social isolation labeled as “social distancing” on everyone. Our tyrants in waiting around the country are more than happy to oblige. We should refuse to refer to public officials who support these measures as anything other than the dictators or enablers that they are.
No! You can’t do that. All citizens must be punished equally. It has nothing to do with preventing the spread of a virus. If citizens in NYC must stay in their homes, to be fair, citizens in Wyoming must be required to do the same. I demand it. I will not be happy unless everyone everywhere is required to stay in their homes.
Nobody needs to watch a Sixers, Pens or Flyers game.
The same is true with the hoplophobes. They want government to take away my 2nd Amendment rights because they are too afraid of being responsible for their own protection. Liberalism is based in cowardice and the flight from responsibility.
True.
The point being I believe just cancelling mass gatherings, like sporting events, alone probably would have the same impact as total lockdowns.
One theory said that it was one soccer game between a Spanish and Italian team during the UEFA Champions League was primarily responsible for seeding the virus in both countries.
More than on this date, but no fewer than the total that will still die from it even with these measures. Remember, even the nexus of fear that is creating the models doesn't assert that you can avoid getting the Wuflu. They just want people to get it at a slower rate than would overwhelm the hospitals. So it's just a matter of how soon, not how many...
Neither has Oklahoma and the rate of infection is nearly twice any state with a similar population. Add to that one of the highest death rates of any state in the country and it is just getting started. Activity around here is a paid national holiday of going to the lake, camping and just generally driving around.
Yep - unlike all those who demanded they be taken control of, then started getting upset when they started getting their way...
