If I did my math correctly, based on todays numbers Fairfield and New Haven County have About 72% of all cases in the state, which correlates very well to people taking Amtrak or metro north into New York City on a daily basis for work. If you look on the CT coronavirus website it includes a little map that shows the number of cases in each town, And towns with commuter rail connections to New York City, such as New Haven, Bridgeport, Fairfield, etc. All have the highest cases. Once you get farther inland even in those counties the numbers drop off.
I live in North central Connecticut along the I 91 Corridor and With the exception of a few towns, most only have a handful of cases that represent a tiny fraction of the population of that town.
That’s weird, because 12 noon to 3 p.m. is the holiest part of the day as I remember it.
