As NBC News reported on Wednesday, at least one gay man who tried to donate blood to give COVID-19 plasma antibodies was told that he was disqualified for 12 months because he takes Truvada to remain HIV-negative. One person gets butt-hurt (hmmmm) and completely change donation protocols.

Well, if he has immunity to COVID-19, apparently his immunity system is still working. So I can see the point, a least vis a vis Covid-19 plasma donations.
