Ever notice that the negativity come for the politicization from the same party,

No, it is NOT a "new threat". The possibilities of biowarfare have been known for decades, and research has been ongoing in both civilian and military sectors to develop responses. I worked in the early 2000's with LLNL on automated instrumentation to detect biowarfare agents, which were deployed and were/are used nationwide. So I KNOW it was ongoing.

With that background, I say that Trump's administration has done wonders. Thank God he is president!

Change is constant no matter the circumstances. As for predictions, which everyone is intent on doing now, I agree with Yogi Berra.

Predictions are always inaccurate, ditto for planning. That is why government planning is so disastrous. It never happens the way planners, or any of us, think it will happen.

I don't know. But it appears now that doctors have the power to shut down states, cancel elections (Dr. Amy Acton, Ohio after Gov DeWine lost in court), determine who is "essential" (granting waivers to those they deem as such). Governors can make determinations on who can take prescriptions. They can limit the number of people retailers allow in their store. Agencies are encouraging citizens to turn in people that are illegally assembling. States are seriously considering closing down borders. All while a large swath of the populace cheers and shouts down any who dare to question.

I'm sure governors and medical folks are doing what they think is right to mitigate this disease. I many instances, they probably are right. But that doesn't make the future of the country any less scary to me.
