Here’s what I want to see. A breakdown of exactly WHO is dying from this world ending bs flu.
If we have 5000 deaths so far than how many are over 65 yrs of age and of those what other medical conditions did they have. I think of the thousands who died I have heard of maybe 5 who were middle aged or younger and none of them had a clean health record.
My point is keep the older people (like me)locked down for THEIR OWN BENEFIT and let the rest of the world go with their lives.
After a good nap the city I was actually thinking of was Cuenca. I just sent in a request to join the Cuenca expats group on FB to get some first hand accounts on how they are doing.
I first started thinking about retiring overseas when we met a man in our poker league who had retired to a town called Vilcabamba, in Ecuador. He talked about how wonderful the climate was, all of the fresh fruits and vegetables he grew there, low cost of living, etc., and it got me to thinking and doing research. We settled on Spain because it was closer to our relatives we had in England. Costa Rica was looking to cash in on their good reputation and things were too pricey for us. Panama would have been a great choice if it wasn’t for Spain. My brother just retired to the Phillipines for pretty much the same reason I chose Spain. He married a Filipina and she has a lot of relatives there.
I haven't referenced the Chinese numbers in weeks, and even when I did, I mocked them. And I've never even look at the Iranian numbers.
They’re currently averaging temps in the high 80s.
So much for warmer weather knocking this thing out.

Maybe they’re not even in Ecuador, maybe it’s a fake crisis studio lot in Hollywood.
If you went back 3 and 4 weeks ago to Milan or Madrid when they also had “only” 3K cases and 100 dead, what do you suppose happened after that?
Do you suppose that the pandemic all went away in Italy and Spain? No, that’s when deaths exploded in those 2 countries that have much much better medical systems than Ecuador.
