Yeah, that’s what I was thinking also. A diseased cruise ship shows up off the Florida coast and the governor is a dick for not throwing out the welcoming mat. What’s wrong with these people!

as he walks a fine line between humanitarian action vs protecting the populace of Florida
You have given him no measure of respect for the difficulty of his decision
The President has made the decision that United Kingdom and Canada will pick up their people......and we’ll figure out what measures to take care of known Floridians on the ship!

In February we visited the Medical Services area on Sky Princess. Amazing modern facility, lab, and wonderful staff — from S. Africa, I think. We even saw an ICU unit. It’s a new ship, so I doubt if all ships’ medical offices are that good.
We also have lawyers. Lots and lots of lawyers, Annie.
I LOVED DeSantis until he said NO!!! He didn;t equivocate...he said NO WAY JOSE! I lost respect for him, but he can get it back!!
