Yes, I believe there’s a 50/50 chance it could happen. Local, state and the federal governments cannot honestly expect an entire nation to shut down indefinitely. People will become impatient going without paychecks, falling behind on mortgages and insurance payments.
A $1200 government check is barely a drop in the bucket and the sh!t will begin to hit the fan when Americans recognize that this shut-down will cause many of them financial ruin or hardship beyond anything they imagined with no end in sight. All the while the politicians are free to roam the halls and still collect their paychecks, per diem and lavish priveledges.

The governors are enacting the lockdowns. The President doesn’t have the police power to enforce. Remember Sanctuary cities? Trump could declare everything open tomorrow and the governors could just nope him
CW3 could break out any day now over this imposes evonomic depression, millions and millions of good, loyal citizens forced out of work and groceries starting to limit food orders not just TP. Threats flying at the checkout as costumers told they can’t buy food - (so far we see this extreme krap at only one huge national grocery (“S.......”) but if it spreads, watch out! The violence will break out so fast none of us will see it coming). Please pray for America, we are most regrettably being shoved right up to the cliff —)

Keep in mind, Italy has an 11% fatality rate (confirmed vs deaths). They have a right to be scared. We are only 1.84% but steadily increasing.

Hmm, lets see how this works.
On one hand, we all stay home and protect our families and the virus dies on its own because there’s no one out catching it.
On the other, we all rush out and riot, get hurt, end up wasting a hospital bed, run up a huge medical bill and bring the virus back home to our families. And the quarantine is still on but longer because the virus is happy with all the new victim.
