Cuomo needs to commandeer all of the hootches out there and turn them into the hospitals he is always yakking about Trump not supplying.
Where's my popcorn?

Oh, I’m sure the ‘woke’ celebrities who live in the Hamptons would be fine with that..
As of last week they cancelled the Jitney until April 9th.
Hey, if it were Maine, they'd just cut down someone else's trees and block the roads..
Same thing happened with the Black Death. People escaped the cities to the countryside and spread the disease. They said the plague spread along by the trade routes. I noticed from the situation map in Wisconsin, the biggest concentration of CV cases right now seem to be along the I94 (Chicago-Milwaukee) and I90 (Chicago-Madison-La Cross) corridors.

Ok, so now they already have socialist factionalization and infighting in the vast blue sea. That’s rich!
The Masque of the Red Death in real time.
Earlier in the month, you could look at the maps and make the case for I-80, US 30 and US 20 being the route of the spread in Iowa, but the epicenter in Johnson County (Iowa City, U of I, U of I Hospitals) might not be because of the roads, but rather a group of people coming back to IC from cruises and trips overseas and appearing asymptomatic in the poulation long enough to fire the prairie.
Yates County Legislature Chairmans Request to Tourists & Second Home Owners
Yates County welcomes its seasonal residents and visitors. In normal times, the countys emergency services and medical facilities are capable of providing excellent care. However, these are not normal times. Because Yates County is rural and has a normal population of approximately 25,000 people, its emergency and medical community are limited in their ability to serve a large number of patients requiring higher levels of care as experienced with COVID-19 and other illnesses. Our hospital is small and incapable of handling a large influx of patients. Our stores are likely to have difficulty providing supplies to a large population.
There is no travel ban currently in New York State nor is there a New York State requirement for individuals to be quarantined for fourteen days who are coming back to New York State from another state or anyone coming into Yates County from another county in New York State. Yates County Public Health Director Deb Minor is alerting any visitor to follow the same precautions set forth for all community members...
Cuomo is STILL refusing to tell Downstaters to stay put or, if they refuse, to self-quarantine after arriving at their destination.
People who own homes in both NYC and The Hamptons don’t use the Jitney. Maybe their poorer friends do. That’s for day trippers and weekend guests. The Long Island Railroad goes out there, too. I don’t know how the Hamptons can keep homeowners like Ina and Jeffrey Garten out of their own villa. And given the huge tracts of land people live on, they can self-isolate at their pleasure.
If they’re willing to self-isolate.
And that is a very big if.
They are traveling to the Hamptons in cars, not on public transportation. I doubt very much they’re getting together in huge numbers to party.
The ignorance being shown about NYC and its residents is...well, par for the course on FR, I guess. The usual orgy of hatred.
Miss M, do you personally know for a fact that every Downstater who has bugged is adhering to self-quarantine?
