An NIH study concluded that the major causative agent of bear attacks on humans was the existence of human beings, who are also causing global climate change - causing bears to get angry and attack.

Irrelevant. A person who felt personal responsibility would have had nothing to say but, “I’m a f****ng murderer.”

Seems like nobody likes NY Staters, lately? More the city types, who bring their NYC behavior and attitude down with them, and if they relocate here, their unfortunate voting habits.

They wouldn’t have to sign anything. There would be big signs at the park entrance & a ranger in the booth to reiterate, telling people that hiking & climbing are prohibited. They are entering the park “At their own risk” and no emergency services will be dispatched. The parks already use those lighted signs for when they do road work, etc.- easy to have them on the roads throughout the park with the same warnings.

I went to make reservations at Yosemite last night. I get the feeling that National
parks are closed.

Shouldn't there be a special wilderness area for black people, Asians etc. It's been done...

Illinois has closed all state lakes and recreation areas in the state. No fishing, no hunting, no mushrooms, no hiking.

Bigfoot could be an asymptomatic carrier, but I hear he is pretty good at social distancing.

If youre trying to say that its all hawg-stupid, I agree.
Not only is it stupid, but it is detrimental to mental health. I often camp at the Cades Cove campground. I was planning to camp there, have all the needed equipment, and have done that many times. There is no tv, internet, nor cell phone coverage in the valley. I would be taking a break from the madness and hype the virus is inducing into the government controlled media. I would be immune to their influence, which would have been a great positive.
The only service I would have needed would have been for someone to come in and clean the rest rooms once a day. The number of campers is limited by the number of camp sites, so it never becomes like a homeless encampment. I can't see there would have been any undue risk of infection.
I just think it is more unhealthy to close the park, than to keep it open.

You may have just hit the nail on the head.
This is to protect Bigfoot from C-19.

... someone to come in and clean the rest rooms once a day ... without knowing whether anyone camping there is infected.
Maybe if they provided cleaning supplies and let the campers clean up after themselves ... although I can imagine knock-down-drag-out fights of the sort that develop among my teenaged sons when the bathroom is a sty but everyone refuses to clean it.
