Headline: Postal employees sue government for being issued expired protective equipment. Postal carrier permanently disabled due to eye injury due to rubber band due to government negligence.

Screwed for if you try to help or not. Federal employees are the biggest idiot/scammers. Trust me I know.

I read that earlier. Why the SEIU has 39 MILLION masks is beyond me. If a job requires a mask or other PPE you can bet with 110% certainty the SEIU contract makes the employer, not the SEIU provide that.

S’ok. I have a gas mask and a couple of filters if the S really hits the F. Or I run out of N95 masks, because that’d suck.

Hey DEEP STATERS, maybe you could try some good old fashioned FIRST IN, FIRST OUT management of inventory. Periodically buy new stock while simultaneously selling old stock at a discount (well before its “use by” date) ...it’s not brain surger.

#14. Dollar Tree and similar stores have bags of various sized rubber bands for $1.00. They are good quality and worth having around the house (I use them to wrap up paid bills, baseball cards, and celery stalks).

I spent 21 years buying, stocking and distributing these 3M N95 masks for a healthcare facility . They are packed 50/bx, and 8 boxes per case. They come in two sizes, small and regular. They have a metal strip embedded in the upper nose area that must be pinched tightly to conform to your nose structure to be properly effective. They are not sterile so there is no expiration date. They are to be stored in a cool dry environment. PPE or personal protection equipment is a very general term that applies to sterile and non-sterile gowns, facemasks, shoe covers, hair bonnets and goggles. The most effective combination to deal with infectious diseases is PPE with a PAPR (Positive Air Pressure Respirators), a hood with facemask and a hose introducing filtered air to the wearer from various sized filter intake on a coordinated backpack. Or oxygen tanks can be plumbed in as well. I learned this in the 2009 H1N1 outbreak and spent all day, every day for 3 weeks locating and purchasing masks from around the country. There is a lot of bad information out there now, some of it intentional. But these masks do not outdate.

From what I read TSA will use them.

PDJT is doing a great job but don't blame soetoro for lack of masks.

3 yrs to fix the problem.

Yup. This country is loaded with simpletons who haven’t a clue on how to adapt. Tape on the friggin masks. Sheesh! Common sense isn’t common anymore.

Even Twinkies expire. Don't eat them if they're green inside.
