A sense of proportion would help most people.
I have read more than a few articles in the last few months, in which everyone of them say there are still 30 million uninsured Americans? What? we reordered the country's health care system to get those 30 million covered, had to wreck my insurance of 25 years to have the same uninsured as when we started the overhauling 10 years ago?
They are freaking liars, everyone of them.
Liberals created and continue to cultivate a whole strata of US population who are able-bodied wards of the state.
This group actually resents any expectation that they ought to take responsibility for themselves.
For starters, any state or territory shutting down any system (likely already unconstitutional) such as state background checks that citizens are required to use to obtain firearms needs to automatically trigger a Federal response where citizens of that state are legally empowered to purchase firearms and ammunition from ANY state or territory, both by travel if necessary or by U.S. mail direct to their door.
Such empowerment needs to also include the legal right to purchase any items banned in the shut down state - if the state removed the means of complying with those laws, they in fact have made a public declaration that those laws have been suspended.
Is it too much to ask that we consider ending Just In Time (JIT) practices? Yes they make for more highly efficient and less expensive products and services. However, they keep us on the hairy edge of destruction when something like this comes along.
Good summation of the state of our government.
There is never enough money to satisfy the government’s voracious appetite for spending.
Thanks for the ping to a terrific article. Tragically, our bloated and corrupt government is as likely to do anything about our nation being on life-support as they are to put Comey, Clapper, McCabe, et al in prison. Or hold congressional democrats accountable for making hostages of the vulnerable and afflicted during a time of worldwide crisis. I don’t see how or when this ends, but it will end...one way or another.
