Extend the quarantine and extra 2 weeks for anyone unwilling to take the test.

Based on... what?

But if it is known they were probably exposed not having the testing should not be an option.

They have been in quarantine how long?

It’s highly likely they were exposed. There are anecdotal reports that this thing can sometimes exceed the 14 days incubation.

Can you pass those reports on?

While you're looking, I'll pass this along, so you don't have to rely on just anecdotal reports.

"New Study on COVID-19 Estimates 5.1 Days for Incubation Period"

These people have been in quarantine for 21? days.

I am not sure. But another week of quarantine at home seems a reasonable alternative if they won’t take the test.

Please read post 63. There’s no scientific basis for them to take a test at this point. Those tests should be used for higher priority cases.

You are right. The only caution I would make is if they are vulnerable they take extra care not to be exposed again.

Thanks. No apology needed. Things are rather tense these days and that includes forums. Take care.

“If everyone approached this the same way we wouldn’t have to lock anything down at all.”

That is so true. I am doing pretty much the same as you. My contact with others has been very limited recently mainly because of my MS. Never was a glad hand, well met person in any event.
