[My wife, pastor, and friends have all said that we believe that God is using this as a wake up call to people, and a plea to come to Him before things really get bad during the Tribulation.]
Yep. I’ve been talking to a lady about these things. She asked me if this was it (basically). I said, no, it will be worse. Much, much, much worse than this.
The footsteps of the Messiah are indeed coming closer with each passing day.
Ezekiel 38 continues to shape up for fulfillment.
[The first is the rider on the white horse]
Yes, that rider on the white horse is the Antichrist, the Beast, the man of sin, the king of fierce countenance, the anti-messiah. /preaching to the choir
Yes, and Born Agains should be looking for His return to the first Heaven for their departure, rather than looking for the arrival / revealing of the anti-Christ. We are not appointed to thwe wrath of God (1 Thess 1:10). See the first verse in Rev 4 ... and wat Jesus assured the Philadelphian church was their fate (to be kept from even the hour of the wrath arrival). But your posts show you know this, so we write it for the readers, brother.
[Yes, and Born Agains should be looking for His return to the first Heaven for their departure, rather than looking for the arrival / revealing of the anti-Christ.]
I preach both messages. To those who are departing, and to those who will be going through the Tribulation. It will be close to impossible to share the Gospel (human-wise except for underground Churches) and the truth of the Bible once the Tribulation starts (other than the two witnesses and then the angels of God who will do incredible works). But I also like to tell people those two witnesses and those angels are coming.
;)
When I get home, my coins go in a bowl of soapy water, since 20 sec in soap deactivates it, and I actually took all my bills and ironed them.
I’m sure it killed more than COVID.
Course, I wear vinyl or nitrile gloves when I go out and those get peeled off soon as I get home and then I wipe everything down.
A good explanation of how to interpret some of the questions that the black letter gospel doesn’t explain but much of it still lies in the white space gospel of supposition.
I’m cautious to keep scripture on one side and expository supposition on the other because of the fact that when Christ came upon the Earth in fulfillment of scripture, he came when men should of expected him but weren’t looking and he came in a manner and said things that were beyond their viewpoints. He was the expected Messiah but he was never what the Jewish establishment expected Him to be and he was scripture in flesh not men’s traditions in flesh.
I also remember Jonah...
So I look at the scriptures and while I admit to a pre-trib (the start of the 7 years when Beastie boy signs the peace treaty with Israel)rapture bias or at least a pre-days of wrath rapture(the last 3.5 years which get cut short so there is a question of indeterminant time...like a Hebrew bride awaiting her groom and the blowing of the last Trump, for which she waits expectantly.), I have to hold it to one side and hold to scripture on the other side since the doctrines are assumed but not actually advanced directly.
Between you and me and anyone reading I like the notion of a rapture when the 2 Holy witnesses are raised up and God says “Come up here!” They go up, the dead in Christ go up, and then the rest of us who are alive are also taken up and meet Christ in the air...! It might not be the way it happens but I love the symmetry of it.
For the last 3.5 years are beyond horrible and sometime before that time is the point in which the Noah principle should have kicked in and anyone who was a believer will have definitely been taken off the Earth by then. So in personal belief I’m a hopeful pre-tribber or at least a pre”latter 3.5’ver”.
Yet I know the scriptures that can be used to support yours and my view but I also have to admit that nothing outright says these things will be as we have interpreted them. Ultimately it will go as the God in flesh and God the Father have determined they will go, all according to scripture but perhaps not the way we fallible humans have interpreted scriptures. It will go according to how God interprets his own scriptures. We have to leave room in our faith for surprises.
No cash, all electronic payments, (direct deposit, phone pay, credit card, debit card) will be touted as reducing human-to-human transmission. No doubt the cashless society pimps are already praising such things.
****************
As you are probably aware they made cc’s and debit cards so you could just tap them instead of inserting them into th3e thingie.
Now I believe you can just wave the card near the reader to pay.
It scans the chip.
How long until the just put the CC chip in your finger tip or back of your hand?
Pretty convenient huh?
I remember years ago when they first started pushing the debit card usage, charged a fee at first but no more.
My first thought was the Bible and New World Odor.
Maranatha, see you in the clouds.
There is no doubt at all, this scenario is on the way.
Question isn’t if, its when.
I’ll have to try the tap next time I’m at WalMart and see if it works on their machines. I may try to get some more eggs tomorrow.
I go to good banks.
I have about 4 dozen eggs...
I did see on FB a friend commented eggs are hard to find.
FOOD banks...good food banks lol.
The Word of God gives us so many clues. One very significant one is that the Angel who destroyed Sodom told Lot that He could do nothing until Lot was outta there! We will meet the Lord in the air BEFORE the Tribulation of God’s wrath begins being poured out on the unbelieving earth dwellers in ever increasing waves.
My WalMart has been stripped of eggs the last two days - probably the days before that too.
Now a limit of one but that didn’t stop the shelf from getting cleared before I got to it. Was hoping for the 2x18 but wound up with a simple dozen. Was lucky to get that.
Still, it was 58 cents so that was good.
They had 60 for $2.61 but that’s been about 6 weeks ago. Overstocked then.
It was strange to me that Aldi’s had a good supply of milk and bread, but no eggs (two per customer limit posted on all three categories).
