I hope and pray the federal election gets delayed too
Delayed?
Cancelled, nothing less is good enough.
(If it would save just one life, shouldn’t we be willing and helping for millions to lose their jobs?)
Has it ever happened in us history?
Well, most people have kind of moved on anyway. Biden has the nomination, everybody knows. Now it’s just a matter of keeping him quiet till a very carefully managed schedule of public appearances can be arranged starting in, say, July.
If this has to happen, better that it happen now than in September. If the worst is over by August, it’ll be a distant memory come November. The viewing public has a memory of about 45 days, I remember reading.

We can hope, but I wouldn’t bet any lives on it.
However, the polls I’ve seen show that a lot of the people are blaming the media for the panic, as underwhelming as it is, and that Trump’s approval for his handling of this is high. I’m not too worried about the election right now. Things can certainly change, but one calamity at a time.
But, if Trump does something its too late and anyway its dictatorial (figure that one out), where if any Democrat does or proposes the same thing its science-based, compassionate, prescient, and necessary.
