The other missed connection is that schizophrenia, severe bipolar disorder are significantly driven by drug abuse.

Having an overachieving family member who fell into this pit, he asserts that ALL of the "street people" are drug and/or alcohol abusers.

Many of those ex loony bins have been resurrected as high class condos. The progressives claimed that “as long as they take their medications, mainstreaming them will be fine.” However, no provisions were every made to ensure that their medications were taken or even provided to them.

I agree that every numbskull could get a degree, but some went and never finished. Brian Williams didn’t graduate from college, and didn’t earn a degree, but he did go to college for a while.
