Bernie’s support would probably go to Warren if he dropped out; Bloomberg would have to pay Biden, and I don’t see that happening. It is clear Mini Mike has no real support among Democrat voters.

Wherever it went that’s still $1 billion into the economy. Trump winning again!

Poor Mike. He only has $49 billion left.

..... at least he can be mayor of American Samoa.

Actually, for $700M he could have bought American Samoa.

Which is probably a better idea anyway. At $140M per delegate, he'll go broke...

He may have to move there if, and when, Sanders loses the convention.

I’d like to believe that someone that wealthy has a more competent master plan, but it very well could be that he has so much money to throw at his vanity project that he figured the mere presence of money would be enough.

He snatched up and paid thousands of campaign staffers, what were they good for other than being kept from the Buttegieg, Warren, Klobuchar, and Biden campaigns? What we’re all those staffers doing? Were they even working, and if they were working, were they working for Bloomburg? Were they sort of a shadow campaign for Biden, or by not being on another campaigns a de facto Biden campaign? If someone admitted it as such, would that be legal?

The problem with mercenaries is that they are only loyal to the money. In politics, money isn’t a motivating factor for a movement, low level staffers have to be sold on the belief that their candidate is the best, mid level staffers have to have enough passion about the candidate to keep pressing their subordinates to work hard. Senior staffers can turn off the passion bit and be cynical about the profess because they are able to fake passion for the right amount of money. There are not a whole lot of activists at any level passionate, feigned or otherwise, about Bloomburg.

He only won by 72 votes.

That’s just like the a0c twit in NYC. When people don’t vote, 72 people control your life. ....

I guess Mike isn’t quite as smart as his advertisements claim he is... One billion down the toilet. That could have fed a lot of homeless immigrants.

His whole gambit rested on the fact that Biden would be gone or irrelevant by now. He wanted to fill the void that Biden is holding. That didn’t pan out.

Biden should thank Warren for eviscerating Bloomberg in the debates. He’ll quit later today. I know his campaign manager.

We are about to find what Bloomberg’s actual goal is.

If he is serious about winning he is going to ramp-up a series of vicious attack ads aimed at Biden and Sanders.

If he continues to bash only Trump we know he’s nothing but a stalking horse. A clever way for Democrats to evade campaign finance laws.

Steyer is in the same boat - spent 1/5 of his wealth on his failed-from-the-start campaign. It’s the height of narcissism.

He doesn’t even realize how foolish he looks. He thinks he’s going to have big convention leverage with a few dozen delegates. He should be advised that the DNC already has it handled, Biden is their man if you haven’t been paying attention.

When he drps out he’ll throw a billion dollars behind Biden. Instead of 24/7 Bloomberg ads, it will,be 24/7 Biden ads brought to you by Bloomberg.
