I think McStain was talking about Iran. Iran was his “country first” country.
McCain was a very sick turd and most of us realized it.
What country was McCampaign talking about? At least with Trump we don’t have to guess at that.
McRomney:-)
John McCain was never “Country 1st” he was “John McCain’s ego 1st, last and always”.
Evan Grollman go sell your stupidity to the families of the POWs McCain and Kerry sold out and left to rot in SE Asia.
I think McCain’s “patriotism” was to North Vietnam—never trusted that guy as far as I could throw him.

That’s the Newark Star Ledger: Pravda west of the Hudson.
Ecch
WOW, I got to the first sentence and said:
PUT THE PIPE DOWN!
McCain was a regular Judas Iscariot
Evan Grollman is a local internet troll. His readership is shorter than.....well, forget it.
The author doesn’t do a good job at explaining the difference between McCain’s “Country First” and Trump’s “America First” policies. He mostly whines that republicans should be like John McCain.
Apparently, the difference is the “Country First” means that republicans should give in and do things the way the democrats want it done so that there is less bickering. “America First” simply means that foreign policy will seek outcomes that are in America’s favor over ones that seek some nebulous global outcome.
Remember when John put “Country First” with his vote to save Obamacare?
Just how in the F#$% could any conservative admire John McCain. Good grief......get the F@#$ outta here.
In all due respect, McCain had a screw or two lose.
If Palin hadn’t been on the ticket he would have go slaughtered even worse. I knew Goldwater conservative Republicans who were sitting out the 08 vote because they couldn’t stomach this back stabbing SOB. Palin got them to vote for this scumbag. Hardest vote I ever had to cast in a presidential election McCain was pure sleaze and a total ahole liar.
Delusional.
The truth about no_name is kept out of view because its impact would cause anger beyond what is in experience. He didn’t die of his own will.
The world is a better place without him.
I voted for Palin. I totally get it.
