Can’t stop giggling over this. California!!! In CA, $1000 will not pay to have a maintained private porta-potty placed out in front of your tent on the boulevard.

The Stockton experiment was privately financed by some wealthy guy. Naturally it is/was only temporary (not sure if it is still going). Other such experiments have not succeeded where they’ve been tried.
