WELL, he was wrong about his rocket but he was right about the flat earth
this whole “earth is round” BS is a United Nations/EU plot, hatched by their secret agent Eratosthenes in Syene, a city south of Alexandria, on 19 June, 240 BCE. The plan is to tax half of the working class for government protection against falling off from the bottom side, and then to flip the whole thing over and tax the other half of the working class for the same “free entitlement.” Senator Bernie Sanders (Vermont, Communist) will be in charge of confiscating your wealth and Congressman Henry Calvin Johnson Jr. (Democrat, Georgia’s 4th district) will be in charge of the flipping

The idiot liked to brag about his garage level science. He could have gotten much higher, cheaper and more safely using a bunch of lower tech helium balloons tied to a law chair. For smarter, more entertaining versions MythBusters looked at both steam powered rockets and lawn chair flight.

This particular launch was only supposed to take Hughes 5,000 feet in the air, according to Discovery. Weren't there any smallish mountains in his neighborhood that he could have climbed, instead?
Heck, a good-sized hill would have been high enough!

“everyone that has seen a satellite”
These flat earthers probably think satellites just bounce back and forth like the Pong arcade game.

He didnt prove that the earth was flat, but he DID learn how to make applesauce!
These flat earthers have answers to everything, even when you can prove their answer wrong. A guy I know believes the government has planes leave chem-trails to could the sky and control the weather and swears they use a sun-simulator to project what we rubes THINK is the sun in our sky...
Im sure he believes that tides are operated by the government as well..

My kid is an actual degreed rocket engineer who works at NASA.
He said Mad Mike saw too much and got taken out.

OK, Ill bite. Suppose he is correct and the world is flat. Then what is underneath it?

What was the speed at the end of his trajectory.
Terminal velocity?

Adam Schiff announced at a “news” conference that the Russians interfered with the launch to ensure that the truth about the shape of the earth does not come out

Looks like he fell for about 10 seconds, so roughly 100 mph. Enough to squash him.
To: DarrellZero
Check that about 220 mph.

It’d be funny if he noticed the curvature this time.
