There are recipes in the internet. I’m no expert.

“Is it *possible* that something other than lack of flu vaxx was at play if one needed a quad bypass?”

Yes. After getting to the hospital I had a heart attack. It was difficult to breathe and a heart-stress chemical was over 2,000x normal in my blood. They scoped my heart and found partial blockages in each quadrant. From 98% to 35% so I guess this was putting additional strain on the heart in addition to the flu.

After I cleared the flu and pneumonia they recommended the quad bypass. I’d had a close call and didn’t want to be back there again so I agreed. They did the bypass two days later. One good thing is my ankles don’t get swollen anymore after sitting for a long time.

A week after getting out of the hospital I caught another flu strain which I chalk up to the body stressed from healing. It was a mild strain and it’s thankfully clearing now after two weeks of rest, oatmeal and spaghetti.

So yes, it was a collection of issues and I figured I’d get the bypass to reduce the confluence of circumstances that put me there to begin with. All in all no regrets. Thank you for your thoughts.

My point was not about you personally.

Lots of people here in the US are in really poor health, overweight, clogged arteries (often means low on D3 and K2) and taking unnecessary meds due to all the above. We are much more likely to be able to fight off illness, including flu, if we choose to live healthy lives.

People in many of these health threads seem to want to lecture others about skepticism over conventional medicine approaches in some areas. They would do well to look in the mirror and pull the log out of their eye...
