Now that President Trumps' economy (or is that Obamas' economy?) has given blacks almost full employment it's almost no different from 'slavery'.

Nonsense. More than 50% of negroes were free citizens in the first half of the 19 century, 1800-1860. Of those nearly all were farmers. Many were day laborers, frequently unemployed. Under Obama 50% were living in poverty. Under Trump that numberr has fallen below 10%.

Back in the days of slavery, Southern Democrats and communists both referred to free labor as “wage slaves.” So what has changed? Clyburn is a Southern Democrat and a communist.
It is time we Republicans make it clear: Democrats offer a life of welfare dependency, along with dysfunctional families, dysfunctional communities and dysfunctional schools; drugs and crime.
Republicans aren’t even trying to compete with that agenda. What do we offer? Liberals like Clyburn will never, ever stop using the slavery to complain about their lives. There are many people who have black skin that are highly successful (if you count being rich as being successful). Why did historical slavery not stop them? Liberals are adept at one thing: complaining.
