If the Democrats win the Senate, it’s over for Trump. The first thing they will do is impeach him again and convict him in the Senate. That’s how they plan to get rid of him, not through the ballot box. So they need to retain the House and the Senate and it really doesn’t matter which of their loser primary candidates wins the nomination because they will have the presidency early next year anyway if they get the Senate. We have to hold the Senate and retake the House to keep Trump in the WH and safeguard his agenda. We have less than 5 years to MAGA and KAGA.

There is an important Senate race in Michigan. Republican John James has a very good chance of unseating Democrat Gary Peters. Please support him and every Republican challenger.

Garland Tucker was going to primary Tillis this year. He had some significant money behind him and blanketed NC with ads in 2019. Then, suddenly, Trump endorsed Tillis even though Tillis is a moderate and was not a strong supporter.

Was this a price for McConnell and the GOP moderates support during the impeachment trial?

It appears Lindsay Graham has no real primary competition. When he is reelected for 6 years, expect him to turn on Trump.

The GOP establishment is in full control of the GOP Senate and the candidate selection process for the Senate.

I dont see Trump agreeing to that. He might go for DACA but not blanket amnesty. It would be political suicide.

“Was this a price for McConnell and the GOP moderates support during the impeachment trial?”

Also discussed in the article:

‘Remember when Thom Tillis suddenly got religion and introduced a bill to allow victims of criminal aliens to sue sanctuary cities? Although that bill was flawed, the idea behind it was good. The reason he introduced it was because he had a primary challenger with money. The minute Tillis secured Trump’s endorsement as being “tough on the border,” he had no need to push that bill any more, which is why you don’t see it coming up for a vote. Instead, it’s back to amnesty. The same dynamic played out with Lindsey Graham, who avoided a serious primary challenge by getting tough on illegal immigration for a few months.

‘How many more times will we be fooled?’

‘How many more times will we be fooled?’
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
There are some on FR that are genuinely fooled by Grahamnesty and the rest, there are others that purposely mislead others to be fooled.
President Trump has to stop endorsing Bush League Republicans or we will never be rid of them.
This should be part of a Comprehensive Immigration Enforcement bill, missing since 1986 ONE TIME amnesty. The List of Comprehensive Immigration Enforcement, missing since 1987 goes like this -
1) southern barrier;
2) require eVerify to hire;
3) end all chain migration;
4) birthright per Minor v. Happersett (plural parents);
5) end work visas;
6) 10-year moratorium on all new applications for citizenship (40 years to allow workplace automation effects on downsizing population);
7) Set up an illegal aliens’ victim restitution fund.
Enactment of these provisions will motivate illegal aliens to SELF-deport, and remove colonizadors from our welfare rolls.
I'll add a few more to your excellent list:
1) require eVerify to VOTE;
2) no more anchor babies;
3) not one dime of any sort of welfare/housing/education/food benefits;
4) cannot attend any publicly funded school;
5) cannot harbor any sort of infectious disease
Johnson is not for amnesty he spoke against it and denied he was in favor a few weeks ago - the alternative to johnson in northern wi is a democrat, likely russ finegold again who does as he’s told by the party.
