I'm not being "mean", but your reading comprehension stinks!

Nobody, certainly not I, "supported" John V. in any way in my posts! And FYI...he was NOT "a nice guy", which I never claimed him to have been! As a matter of fact, he was a real POS who lost ALL of his supporters, friends, and associates when he became the mayor and then descended into abject lefty lunacy! All I said is that I knew him, which I did, and that, UNLIKE BLOOMY, he NEVER switched political parties in order to run for mayor.

La Guardia was a bit like Trump...a POPULIST and he was an extremely good mayor; one of the very best!

I don’t get the impression that Bloomberg was particularly into skirt-chasing. Just look at the women he’s had on his arm over the decades. Not exactly arm candy. It’s just that there’s a peculiar Wall Street institution of locker room talk among a bunch of people whose all-consuming interest both at and away from work is chasing profits, not women.
