Posted that the Beast is derived from Chevrolet’s Kodiak model when it’s the GMC TopKicks platform.

Since 2009, the United States Presidential State Car has become labeled “Cadillac One”[13]; as a result of its massive size, it is also nicknamed “The Beast”.[14] Corresponding to its use by the Secret Service, many details about the vehicle remain classified. While its chassis specifications were never revealed by Cadillac or the Secret Service[13], the vehicle was developed alongside GMC TopKicks on the GMC560 platform.[15] In place of previous limousines, the highly-armored vehicle is not based upon a production Cadillac model line, instead wearing a one-of-a-kind body (borrowing components from Cadillac vehicles).[13]

Entering service in 2018, a second generation of “Cadillac One” limousines entered service. Wearing an updated version of Cadillac bodywork (though again not derived from a specific model line)[16], the vehicle is again derived from a medium-duty GMT560 diesel truck chassis.[14] While nearly all vehicle specifications remain secret, its weight is estimated to be 15,000–20,000 pounds.[16]

Seeing Trump in the Presidential limo taking a lap would be soooooo very cool.

I would love to see it, as I know when it played on the 6 o'clock news that liberal heads and media commentator's heads would be exploding.

That is when W was in office and he visited during the Daytona 500. From the looks of it Air Force 1 is taking off and the race is still ongoing so that is why not everyone is looking. The Daytona airport is right next to the track.

"I hope the other cars can keep up with “The Beast” 😏 " ***************************************** My sources tell me that NASCAR officials pushed very hard that The Beast be crippled with a restrictor plate, apparently to save them from embarrassment if Trump ordered his driver to put the “pedal to the metal” and record a lap faster than pace cars are allowed. The Secret Service pushed back, saying they are not going to sacrifice the president’s security just because of NASCAR’s stupid idea of crippling race cars with restrictor plates. (satire and an anti-restrictor plate rant)

Thank you - that’s a thrill just to look at.

My husband and I missed the entire Beast lap yesterday. We were watching network Fox and all the blabbing that went on.
Not one word about the Beast or the president.

I turned to FOX cable that was regular programming but at least they broke in and showed the president...I was so disgusted...

Do you have any idea if it’s anywhere online?
