In an interview this morning with Maria Bartiromo, Linseed Graham suggested the reason Chucky Schumer is pushing impeachment so far is he has is to play to the left and stave off a primary challenge from AOC.
That’s an interesting observation and one I’ve not considered.

Democrats in heavily liberal states/districts fear the Squad more than anything else.

I think race relations are a (lot) better than they were under Obama. Any progress there helps at the polls. I know quite a few black guys from work and doing some industrial sales work - maybe only 2 out of 12 seem to be liberal democrat rump swabs.
