If Bloomberg can spend billions on "independent" expenditures that aren't, why should individuals be limited to donating $2800 to campaigns? Why was it a big deal for Citizens United to make a film attacking Hillary Clinton?
According to Predictit the Republicans now have an even change of keeping the Presidency. A few months ago they were 55-45 underdogs. We should not panic about Bloomberg, but our campaign finance restrictions should be lifted if he can bulldoze them.

He won't get the nomination...but it would be a hoot if he ran as 3rd Party.

Does Bloomberg really want to pour all that money down a rat hole, lots of good charities out there could use that money.

I love these political billionaires, and the rich Hollywood types and how they throw their wealth around to achieve political goals. They got money to burn, but do any of them care to help others? Just think how a tiny portion of their wealth can be put to a better use. If I had their money, I would see to it more of these are built. https://vetsoutreachwi.us/vets-village/

Personally, I would LOVE to see BLOOMING IDIOT completely WASTE a BILLION BUCKS in a fruitless attempt to defeat President Trump. = That would be a BLESSING & an aid to END the DIMs as a major political party.
ANY DIMocRAT in 2020 has the same chance that I do to defeat DJT. = NONE.
(It just so happens that I know a Las Vegas oddsmaker & Carol says that ANY of the DIMs has LESS than a one in 12 chance of winning against the POTUS in 2020.)

What do they say about a fool and his money?
To: karpov
No amount of money can help Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, or Bloomberg. The more he spends, the more it will hurt the Democrats.
All of Trumps rallies are broadcast, and people have to register with his campaign. Trump is killing it on social media, and has probably the best organization for communicating and getting out the vote operation, EVER.
