If AA batteries are protecting the airport or located anywhere near the airfield, they should know when every aircraft is landing or taking off. This one had just taken off. Loaded with fuel, so a fireball in the sky would not be inconsistent with some kind of catastrophic failure. Also possible that a bomb could have been planted onboard.
Iranians with Canadian citizenship visiting relatives apparently. There was a Swedish family of four who were all killed as well.

This was no accident or stupid trigger happy act on the part of some untrained Iranian missle crew.
This was planned by the Iranians so that they could blame Trump and they knew the Democrats would use it to get rid of him as proof he is unstable.
But Trump didn’t take their bait and let them fire their junk missiles into the Iraqi desert and he chose not to fire a shot back.
Now they have been caught and even the press is going to have a hard time covering for them.

The great bulk were Iranians or folks with dual Iranian/ Foreign (eg., Canadian) citizenship. I understand that many were students who had been home from their overseas schools during the break between semesters and we’re returning to school.
What does Trudeau have to say since it was his citizens who died. Will he sit back and take it?

Every minute 24/7/365 Iran is under our satellite eyes. If a missle brought that plane down we would know it. So far only accusations, without the satt proof. Trump plays Chess while the opposition checker players who love terrorists spittle accusations. Wonder how they will deal with it when the satt imagery is released?
Both shot down by Russian equipment. And then there was an Israeli airstrike on Syria, where the Syrians accidentally shot down a Russian plane and Israel taking no losses.
Maybe Russian equipment is just unsafe.
