It is most probable that we are planning further strikes, militarily and economically. That said, We never want to get pulled into a fight on the enemies terms, we want a fight on our terms (a la Sun Tzu). Keep in mind, you and I Do not know what the Russians, Turks, and Chinese are doing. Getting NATO rallied for future action is a wise.
I was asking myself — what the heck? Iran launched 15 ballistic missiles and essentially hit NOTHING !
Either their AIM is so bad and they’re incompetent or they deliberately hit nothing.
If the former, then they’re worse than I thought ( but I don’t underestimate them since they were able to hit our drone when they wanted to ).
This “face-saving” measure is consistent with the reports we’ve been hearing that their own propaganda WITHIN Iran for their own people tells them that they killed dozens of our troops.
The years leading up to WWI were filled with intrigue and plotting as world leaders were looking for an advantage over their neighbors. Secret deals and secret mutual aid agreements were the norm as the leaders each sought an advantage.
The fact that the assassination of an obscure Duke that no one really like lead to the death of millions in the first world war and millions more twenty years later in the second world war is amazing in hindsight.
The world stumbled blindly into WWI because no one understood what the war would be like and they would lose “face” if they back down.
President Trump made a decision to stop and step back (and get control over the situation) and is allowing Iran to re-think their actions.

It’s true — Iran warned Iraq an hour ahead of the missile strike.
I consider this to be epic. And I will amplify how I feel about this. Of the events that have happened over the last 50 years, the one this most compares to in significance is the tearing down of the Berlin wall. This is one of the greatest political wins in the last half century, IMO. This will be a hard win to surpass. And a side note was just how foolish and fearful his political opponents made themselves look stateside. Fodder for the election cycle.

I heard from the Daily Wire (Ben Shapiro) that Iran inform the prime minister of Iraq that missiles would be coming in an hour. That’s a heads up from a hostile country that doesn’t want to lose face or start a major war.
